Work Plan for the Year 2005

The following work plan is organized according to the six priorities in the SC SHRAB state plan for historical records. Please note that many activities related to those priorities are being undertaken by other South Carolina organizations and institutions and are not reflected in this work plan for the SC SHRAB.
 

PRIORITY A: Educate the Public on the Importance and Significance of Historical Records.

PRIORITY B: Increase Financial Support for South Carolina’s historical records.


PRIORITY C: Increase Archival Education/Training and Program Development

PRIORITY D: Ensure that South Carolina’s Historical Records are Preserved and Accessible for Use

PRIORITY E: Address the Challenges Posed by the Proliferation of Information Technology and Electronic Records.

PRIORITY F: Ensure a Productive and Visible State Historical Records Advisory Board.
